Bible Studies - Learn & Serve
We offer a variety of opportunities for a Bible Study and Children services to meet the needs of our community. This includes traditional Sunday School for the children, an adult Bible Study class, a bi-weekly Bible Study and monthly Community Meal Bible Study.

Also, depending on the season, we have numerous and varied opportunities to fellowship, including volunteer opportunities throughout the year. If you are looking for a place to serve and help others, let us know. God can use you at Bethany.
Our Mission
We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
Our History: 250 Years
Bethany Baptist Church is one of Virginia’s many historic churches. Our church was established in the midst of persecution and uncertainty on the beliefs of God first, country second, self last .
Bethany celebrated its 250th anniversary in September 2020 in the midst of the Corona Virus Pandemic. Even through we didn't get to hold the physical celebration in person that we were all looking forward to, we held fast on to the truths established by our church's founders, and our country's forefathers, living by the faith, love and mercy as modeled by our Savior, Jesus Christ. With a long, amazing heritage, our sanctuary offers a historical setting for our traditional worship services as well as for many sacred celebrations, including Communion, baptisms, and weddings.
Worship, Learn & Grow
Our present worship service on Sunday mornings starts at 10:30. Communion is the 4th Sunday of each month. Along with the traditional in house worship, we also offer the Drive In Service where you can tune your radio into the service going on in the building.
We offer worship opportunities in our Adult Lessons and the chance to fellowship in several during the week lessons, including some with meals. Sunday Morning Bible Study for Adults start at 9:30 A.M.​​ Please read more on our Learn and Serve Page.
